Dream on the vineyard. The renovated press houses of the Szászi Estate are located in a beautiful setting on the southern side of St. George’s Hill. All houses have a view of Szigliget, Badacsony, and even the blue of the water of Lake Balaton can be seen in the distance.
The DIÓFÁS Guesthouse on Szent György Hill is located 6 km from Tapolca, 5 km from Szigliget and only 8 km from Badacsony. The settlements of the area are known for their peace and quiet, which ensures the rest of the year for the guests who come here.
For those who want an active holiday, there are countless opportunities, including hiking in the surrounding witness hills, either on their own or on an organized tour, visiting the nearby Arboretums or the visitor centers of the Balaton Uplands National Park, including the spring cave in Tapolca. (We recommend that you book a ticket in advance to make sure you get in!) And those who are interested in aquatic life can even take part in a water tour.

The kitchen of the press house is fully equipped, so self-sufficiency can be easily solved. In winter, a fireplace takes care of romance… and warmth of course.
In the embrace of the vineyards, eating in the garden, Lake Balaton, Badacsony and Szigliget are revealed to our guests. It is a 9-minute walk from the Saxon estate. Recommended for 2-6 people, with a fully equipped kitchen and a bottle of Saxon wine in the fridge.
