The Crocodile Cellar was built on the western edge of the Tapolca Basin at the top of a special production landscape, in a Hegytelek vineyard with a unique panorama. The pride of our family is the Ice Wine, which is made from Italian Riesling. We kindly recommend the wonderful place, our cellar and our excellent wines.
The sight of the crocodile on Lake Balaton, the unique appearance, style, architectural solution of the winery and the world of taste of our wines will surely make the tasting spent with us memorable.
The Balaton Crocodile Guesthouse
Our guest house is located above the cellar and the reception area, with a separate entrance, which was built in 2014 in accordance with the requirements of the European Union rules. The guest house has 4 rooms, a shared heated kitchen-living area and a washbasin for the disabled. Each room has a separate bathroom, and the style of the room is made special by the custom-made wooden furniture. The building is heated by a fireplace in winter and a separate air conditioning system in each room in summer.
The reception area
After visiting the Balaton Crocodile, which serves as the unique fancy name of our wines and winery, we invite our dear guests to our reception room. The room can accommodate 60 people. This number is suitable for wine tasting and other planted events. For weddings, the room can accommodate 40 people. To hold a larger event, the terrace provided enough space to set up an event tent. The capacity of the terrace allows for events of up to 200 people.
On the vineyard it is possible to request a wine tasting for team building, family events, hen and bachelor parties, our reception room and terrace are home to wine competitions, conferences, weddings, trainings, courses, thematic programs.
